Tell us the problem or your need
Once the backup or snapshot creation process has started, there's no way to cancel it from the GUI, and even closing the app keeps it running in the background. I've had to resort to force quitting the app (and presumably ended up with some partial/corrupted stuff on my drive that I'll have to clean up manually later).
