Preload statuses from repo

Currently, the example does not display statuses stored in the repository after a user logs in because there is no functionality to automatically fetch and preload them into SQLite. Let’s add this feature to the app!

I created a PR for that issue (not sure do I need to create an issue first in this case or PR only would be ok so I did both).
