Multiple "invalid handle" accounts

Multiple users are reporting an escalation in accounts displaying as "Invalid Handle"

I have tried re-adding my domain name on the web app - but the problem remains.

Same for my account - https://bsky.app/profile/pigsonthewing.org.uk - despite it showing as valid in Bluesky's own validator. Changing the handle, then changing it back and re-authenticating did not fix the issue.

Logged out, I see the "unable to resolve handle" error shown in my screencap.

I notice both above accounts have HTTP but not DNS verification.

By contrast, openbenches.org has DNS verification.

after some struggles, the cncf.io handle resolves to this profile URL:

I note cncf.io similarly has http verification but not DNS verification.
