However, there always seems to be a skewing of the results by exceptionally quick drivers driving very much an off-pick each week.
See this screenshot, for example (correct as of the 10th Feb, 1700 GMT)

Just over 1% of the entries for the Fixed GT3 series around Bathurst have driven the Ford GT, but for the given iRating it's posting the fastest lap times. I'd argue that this isn't very representative of the entries for that week, and also makes it a bit harder to see how the different cars actually fair against each other. Given it's exceedingly unlikely to see the Ford GT in a race nowadays.
I think you should have the option to exclude results that contain less than x% of the total entries, in order to give a more realistic view of the pace. I know it's fudging the results a little bit, but I feel that the niche picks are somewhat outliers.
