I'd love to see a complete (step by step) hello world example for the arduino uno.

We would like to see that as well! The only problem is that we cannot currently compile the Arduino libraries due to a few bugs which cause assertion errors. AVR-LLVM can compile a decent subset of programs, but it chokes on larger, more complicated projects like Arduino.

Once Arduino is properly supported, a Hello World example will not be far away.

I don't think Arduino support will be far away - the main barrier is a few assertion errors which Arduino happens to trigger, and then proper support for division.

As of now, the Arduino libraries can be compiled with errors :)

There is however a problem with division which will cause it to fail linking,
