Docs: tighten methodology.md to repo voice

Cut ~35 lines of meta-commentary and connective tissue. Removed
em dashes, simpler sentence shapes, more colons and semicolons.
Trimmed the closing sections (disclosures and "what honest means")
which had drifted into preachy. Same substance, ~85% the length.
