Question about the definition of Open Vocabulary

Hi, thanks a lot for sharing this great work — it's really impressive and helpful!

I had a quick question about the definition of Open Vocabulary in the section of LG Label Map. I noticed that you’re using YOLO-World as the detector. While YOLO-World supports open-set detection, as far as I understand, it still needs to be provided with a list of category names, and will only detect objects from that list.

I was wondering — does that mean we need to know the possible object categories in a scene beforehand? If so, I’m curious how this fits into the Open Vocabulary setting you’re working with.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this — just trying to better understand your perspective about the open vocabulary.
