Hi, I left a comment on the PCGamingWiki page for the mod -- I'm not sure if you've noticed it. Thank you so much for making this widescreen patch for Barbie Horse Adventures: Mystery Ride! Being able to bring such an old classic to the big screen is truly a treat!
I thought I'd leave a report of the remaining problem with the patch here as well:
The 2D background images do not seem to scale to fit the screen. If you walk into the house or the barn, you'll see. They stay 640x480 in the top left corner of the screen. This is especially important because the game has mini-games that rely on 2D graphics, and without the backgrounds, these essential mini-games in the story are almost completely unplayable. Interestingly, in the main menu, the same kind of background image does scale to fit the whole screen. So I am guessing that it's just a matter of finding all the background images, and doing with them the same thing you did with the main menu background image.
Hopefully it can be fixed. Let me know if there is anything more I can do to help.
