Hello, @alphayellow1. Could you please tell me whether you'd be interested in making a widescreen fix for Aliens vs Predator 2 (2001)?
One of the main problems with it on modern systems is a lack of proper UI scaling, i.e. a health bar and ammo count, and tiny subtitles that don't scale at all when one chooses a widescreen resolution in the settings. They can only be read without eye strain if one plays at 640x480 or something. This is how subtitles look like at 1920x1080:
Although there are various fix compilations for this game, none of them address this particular issue. The Master Server Patch doesn't increase the subtitle font size in the singleplayer, only in the multiplayer chat. I was the one who reported AvP 2's tiny subtitles on its author's forum in April 2022, but nothing has been done about it in the years since. They directed me to join their Discord server, and according to the latest reports there, the subtitle font size issue was still present as of last summer. I've tried Aliens vs. Predator 2: Fix Compilation as well, it made no difference. The main menu is a tiny box, and so are the subtitles:
