3/5/2026 Cannot connect to any server after latest patch

Describe the bug
Completely fresh installation of the bot, pairing to servers work but once you click 'connect' in the 'servers' discord channel, the bot gets stuck on 'reconnect' loop. Errors shown in console alternate between ERROR: socket hang up AND Error: read ECONNRESET -- i have tried pairing and connecting to multiple different servers and cannot get into any of them

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior: Fresh installation of bot -> input FCM credentials via chrome ext and discord command -> pair server -> click 'connect' to paired server in 'servers' discord channel

Expected behavior
Successful connection to servers

• Hosting OS: Windows 11
• Node Version (node -v): 22.19.0
• NPM Version (npm -v): 10.9.3
• Bot Version (git log -1): latest commit -- also have tried 2 different forks that are more recently updated, same issue

Im having the same problem. No solution yet for me.

Did the following and it started working again:

• npm install
• npm update
• docker restart rpp

This I did this and even did the npm audit fix and npm audit fix --force commands and it seemingly broke even more. Are you sure yours is now working? Are you using a fork?

I'm running my own fork because the client didn’t initially work on the Raspberry Pi (ARM), so I made a few modifications to get it running. Aside from that, it's essentially the same as the latest version from alexemanuelol. In case your looking for the fork (dont use when not ARM). https://github.com/Qsb11/rustplusplus
