Authors' statement on suspicious star activity #3

@Raibows

Description

@Raibows

Hi all, we have noticed an unusual spike of GitHub stars in a short time window (happened on Feb 21, 2026), largely from newly created / low-activity GitHub accounts.

For transparency: this is an academic open-source repo, and recent star counts may not reflect organic interest. We don’t know who is behind it, but we’ll keep monitoring and will report through GitHub’s abuse/spam channels if it continues.

If you see suspicious spam (issues/PRs/comments/links), please report it to GitHub. If you have any clue on this suspicious attack, please leave a note here or email us. We would greatly appreciate your help.
