As a long-time instructor of software developers, hiding implementation details in your base code can derail the cohort. The docker instances are a great convenience and carry a big risk when something goes wrong -- devs don't have enough information to properly model the system they're debugging.
Can we have the dockerfiles used to generate these supporting instances? (Also, you may want to alter these someday for another cohort and it's good to have them under version control.)
