I'm trying to create a new arrangement from songs i'm uploading while keeping the song recognisable by using the same chords and arangement, for example:
Acoustic guitar + vocal → Jazz trio version, same chords, just a different genre
Acoustic guitar + vocal → band vesion with some drums and bass
Pop cover → Dance/Disco version, same chords and arrangemnt
I'm not sure whether this use case is better suited to Custom Mode or Remix Mode.
Which mode should I be using, and has anyone successfully achieved this type of result? If so, I'd appreciate any workflow tips or key settings. I've spent a lot of time on both modes and i cannot crack the code. Most of my Remix Mode outputs sound life a straight up sampling of my input with slightly lower quality. Custom mode writes a completely different song, chords.
Thanks!
