Hi, ACE-Step-1.5 should automatically save to a .wav files, it doesn't generate MIDI, it's audio only. I also use Logic Pro and use the saved MP3 files from the Gradio interface, or the CLI. I've been curious though about the ACE-Step-1.5-VST with Reaper and how that would work. Does it generate separate stems per track? |

ALso don't forget, Logic Pro 11 and the ACE-Step base model in the meantime can both separate stems, Logic Pro with its Stem Splitter and ACE-Step with the Extract feature if you load the base model. Now, what they need is an AU version of the ACE-Step plugin so we can work with Logic Pro directly! |

ACE-Step-1.5 sounds like an absolutely fantastic music composition and arrangement tool! But in the end, I need to transfer the generated song from ACE-Step-1.5 into my DAW to finish off the production. From what I have read in the documentation, you can export separate audio tracks, but I need separate midi tracks with (replaceable) audio.
The reason for exporting is that the final production workflow of the song needs to be more deterministic - you need to be able to zoom in and edit any detail in a very granular way. So my proposal is an "Export to DAW" feature. I use Logic Pro, but there are many others, like Pro Tools, Ableton Live, FL Studio and Studio One, to name a few.
