[v1] Markdown links without paths redirect to the v1 home page

Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to any character in Dicecloud v1
2. Make a link in a markdown entry (i.e. the Journal tab) that just contains a domain (i.e. [text](http://example.com))
3. Click the link

Instead of opening the link, it will instead replace the character view with the v1 landing page view (even though the actual URL doesn't change). If the link has a path (i.e. http://example.com/foo) then clicking the link works as expected.
