The "show deleted messages" feature has a slightly misleading name.

Rather, once a message is locally shown on your device, it will not be hidden if it then gets deleted. Therefore it will look like nothing is happening, as the messages aren't being hidden.

But, If even I'm on the my friends dm tab, and my friend deletes the message it would still not show, I tried this with 384.* as well.Z
Its still hidden once stored locally after he deletes the message
