Description
This came in from a user - simply to describe the bends in the road as it's walked along.
One idea that I'd had on this but hadn't written down was to use a beacon for this purpose:
Imagine having a 'virtual dog' on a 25 metre lead and it is walking along the road ahead of you. The dog will go round the corner first and the user will hear the beacon move with the dog. The movement of the beacon is telling them that there's a sharp bend coming up without even announcing it. We could even have those beacons start automatically so that it's quiet walking along a straight road, but when you get to a corner the beacon starts up. Perhaps the dog stops when it gets to an intersection waiting to know which way to go?
