Calculation of image_stats in processing does not pass image pixel dimensions

When calling nc_vc_from_stats, imx and imy are not passed from actual image size.

In addition, a default (possibly wrong) value for path_length is used if it not defined in the config.toml file. We should consider requiring it to be specified.
