TCP Control Layer #5
Description
The TCP control layer will enable external applications to:
- query channel state
- query RX / TX statistics
- query per frame SNR history, min / max / avg
- set mode, code rate, and frame size
- set CSMA settings
- query /set config like callsign, audio input/output,etc
When PTT is through rigctl, the TCP control layer will also expose a rigctld passthrough
The protocol will either be using JSON or a new line delimited format, TBD
