Question about operation and integration (workflow) in (Manifolder)
"What are the procedures for operating the Manifolder Client for a new workflow (New Manifold) for a Unity or Swift project? And can I practically update this context while working without reprogramming the MCP server?"

Manifolder is a web-based map explorer for spatial fabrics like these:

which run on an Open Metaverse Server, like the reference server that RP1 created. You can host one yourself:

ManifolderMCP gives agents like Claude Code the ability to understand the structure of fabrics, or edit ones that you own. We constructed the fabrics linked above using ManifolderMCP - Claude Code pulled in data from various sources, like Open Street Maps (For Frontier Tower), NASA (for the Solar System), wrote scripts to create the .glb buildings, etc., and used the ManifolderMCP tools to create those "scenes".

AFAIK, no libraries exist yet in Swift or C# to connect to open metaverse servers.

Hi, I'm trying to connect Manifold MCP to claude, so that I can make a theater space with a screen. Are you able to help me?

Sure! Assuming you have set up your map server, follow the install instructions at https://github.com/PatchedReality/ManifolderMCP, or ask Claude to install the MCP.

Then say something like:

“Connect to the default fabric using manifolder mcp, and create a new scene called Theater”

“Tell me the url of the new scene”

Enter that URL at https://patchedreality.com/manifolder/
so you can follow Claude’s progress

“Create a move screen using <your video file>”

Claude should create a playlist file, upload the video and playlist to your server, and create the video playback object in your scene.

Tell claude to read the manifolder mcp agent guide if it gets confused at any point.
