Snowing in Summer, Green leaves in Autumm, Rain in Winter and Red leaves in Spring

I've been seeking help for this exact problem, even though the server recognizes the time as winter, and snow accumulates as expected, the animation is raining. Even though it rains and storms in summer, the animation is rain, and more recently noticed that even though it was autumm, the leaves became greener and greener with time instead of becoming redder, same with spring having red leaves instead of green. It's all visual, every other function works fine.

Hey, sorry to open this again as it’s so much later on. I am using SS without DS on 1.20.1 and i am having this exact same issue where when it should be appearing as snow in winter, it appears as rain. Snow is accumulating like normal just the texture isn’t snow. Is there any way to fix this? It’s on a server, i have reinstalled SS multiple times checked the config.

It started off working until i restarted the server.

In my case, the only relevant mods include "Farmer's Delight" and "Snow! Real Magic!" since other don't tweak seasons or anything like that.

Hey so i worked out the problem, both the client and server config for Serene Seasons have to have the days per season set as the same value. As how it works is that it divides the number of days the game has already been on for by your setting in the config and sets it for you.
Basically, just copy the config in the server to your own config for SS.

I don't get it, where is this client-side config?? Do I have to instruct every server member to do that??

It would be in the config folder in your own minecraft modded version folder, just like the servers. However, If you didn’t change the server config settings (or you are sure they haven’t been altered at all), then i don’t know why this is happening.
But yes you would have to tell your server member to change it.
Orrr you creste your own mod pack for the setver that comes with this altered file, so they can easily download it as it is.

I'll have to find this config folder, since my minecraft folder is a mess XD

In anycase I'll have to pass around the file and give instructions then, I'll update if it's solved (but still, this shouldn't be a thing)

I have 2 files in /.minecraft/config/sereneseasons

What's interesting is that according to this, last time they were modified were just as I opened minecraft earlier, does it reset every time?

It’s most likely there’s something in there editted each time (idk what) but it doesn’t change the important settings. Could be a day tracker or something.
