neucoin blockchain got stuck

It seems the blockchain got stuck at block 805491. It hasn't added any new block for over a week now!

(My client has about 15 connections)

Looking at debug.log, I don't see anything suspicious - even when running neucoind with
-debug -printcoinstake -printpriority -printmessagestart -printstakemodifier -printcoinage -printcreation
so probably more effort is needed to debug this, but it seems to affect all running clients out there so it verly likely is a problem with the software.

I guess if nobody looks into this, neucoin finally is dead for real. Is somebody still listening? It looks like github is the last place where users of neucoin can still talk with each other.

It may well be. I sadly had my computer's system SSD corrupt itself on me and my last wallet backup was from December. I was going to reply on the blockchain to 'catch me up' and recover my lost neucoin (all the minting i'd done since January...), but sadly, there seems to be no one on the network! (My client is stuck with 0 active connections). Not sure if having someone else online would fix this or not... or how decentralized the network really is. I'm going to leave the client up though, just in case someone else hops on eventually...
