tipsy cube input

I just installed tipsy on my new server, and I find that cube expects the following input:
cube type filename size velmin velmax deltavel (thermal)
However, I'm fairly certain that I have been only ever used a version of cube that expects
cube type filename npix velmin velmax deltavel (thermal)
where npix was the number of pixels across the field of view (i.e., of the loaded box). I am not sure if size is also number of pixels, or an actual size of the pixels (e.g., in kpc or in simulation units). Can someone confirm what size expects?
Also note that cube is not found in the tipsy man pages.

Looking at the documentation in cube.c (:-), "size" is the number of pixels across the field of view.
