When installing the enhancement pack with the downloaded pack directly from Mulderland, toggling all options (so as to include RESCALE) causes it to fail and abort on a specific step, giving the message "Download or hash check failed for RESCALE Version 1.0-102-1-0-1715438796.zip, aborting...", which then freezes the installation and doesn't let it complete. It does however install properly without RESCALE, but that does render that option completely useless. Given RESCALE hasn't been updated since 2024, I don't think it's possible that the source file was updated after the release of the enhancement pack.

I can confirm that the install now works. There is a hash check failure on a different pack, but for that one it tries an alternative URL and it then works. As a piece of feedback, the MulderConfig for the game doesn't mention in the actual configurator that some of the options (the API via dgVoodoo and the better antialiasing) can only be enabled if you toggle off the Misc fixes (ERR09 Crash Fix blocks the usage of Direct3D 11 via dgVoodoo2 and Performance Boos blocks enabling MSAA even if you do have Direct3D 11 enabled). I had to go into the .json file to see through the code what was making the options unavailable.

Also, as some other feedback, I don't know if it's down to the implementation done by the pack, but when the game is in Direct3D 11 mode, the Borderless windowed fix provided by the Fusion Fix patch no longer works, with the game staying stuck in Windowed mode. The door skip and other mods still work, so it seems to be specifically the Borderless patch on it that breaks in dgVoodoo mode.

Not sure if any of these are things you can fix (it might just be how the mods interact and nothing can be done about it), but if it's not, leaving a disclaimer open should keep people from posting about it haha

Yes some links can break (temporary or even permanently), that's why I put mirrors when I am allowed to.

Indeed. I recognize that it's confusing when you start by selecting D3D11. I could have added a note in parentheses to indicate the incompatibility, but I would then have to do the same on both sides, since those options are mutually incompatible.

My reasoning was that if you're looking for better performance, disabling MSAA should generally be the first step before enabling the Performance Boost option.

Oh yeah, I can understand that. I don't have an issue with the rationale itself, just that if someone toggles performance boost first (thinking "why would I say no to free extra performance?") they might be confused why one of the options can't be selected at all. In my case, I prefer having MSAA since I have a beefy enough machine, so between the two I easily pick that.

Hmm... I couldn't get it to work on my end, but it's not a huge issue for me or anything. I can just use the Borderless Gaming app to force borderless anyway.

EDIT:

Two things:

Upon further check, it seems the Borderless mode was being disabled in the FusionFix .ini somehow. The borderless mode would work normally on Direct3D 9 and not on 11, but when I went to check the file itself, Borderless mode was set to 0. I set it to 1 and it's now working. No clue how that happened (especially considering I did a full uninstall and reinstall of the game and mod at one point and it happened both times), but that at least works now.

Also, I don't think the installer is installing the FMV pack correctly? I noticed that the FMVs still looked fairly crunchy in-game, so I downloaded the file manually from RE-Enhance to check it out.
