Describe the issue

running in an issue with the average sensor losing its unit

Image

this happens usually after an HA restart but not always.

I can get the unit to fix it self if I reload the average sensors from the YAML config reload screen.

Reproduction steps

  1. configure average sensors
  2. reboot HA
  3. get notified of unit change

Note this does not happen on every reboot.

Debug logs

can't pull a log as it does not happen after every reboot

Diagnostics dump

no diag dump available as there is no device to generate from.
