Kunena is not uninstalled properly via Joomla

When Kunena is uninstalled via the Joomla installer, this message appears (see image below). However, the uninstallation will still be performed.

• The database tables are removed.
• The plugins are removed (only the empty folder /plugins/kunena remains
• Kunena is removed from /administrator/components and /components
• This message during uninstallation (see image) needs to be adjusted
• Everything remains in /media/kunena
  .

Did-you have uninstalled the package ?

Because just tried it has been uninstalled like it should :

Between the error messages, I also get a message that the uninstallation was successful (see my image above). And indeed, everything except the /media/kunena folder is uninstalled.
I have no idea why these error messages appear anyway.

Hi, spent good part of the morning to troubleshoot this. found the issue and just pushed a commit in the refactor config PR.
The issue was in the kunena media manifest file where (as it turned out) only one directory was removed on uninstall.
I tried to do it with an install script, but then although everything deleted okay I kept getting the error that the attachements folder could not be removed as it was unexisting: so the core uninstall tried to remove directories after the uninstall function had already removed them....

So removed the script, refactored the directory structure in the package: so there is now only one directory: kunena that is removed by Joomla Core when uninstalling the kunena media file package.

The installation/uninstallation now works perfectly, and the Kunena folder in “media” is also removed.
However, I can't get rid of this error message. I have already tried it with different browsers and test pages.
One more thing: The Kunena menu should also be completely removed, as it used to be with the Remove Tool.

@rich20 menu uninstall just added, again: good catch!
as for the errors, I cannot reproduce that. Maybe a permissions issue on your installed files / folders? you can reset these using Admin Tools.

Apparently, I am making mistakes during testing. The error messages have now disappeared, but the Kunena menu has not been removed.
Once this is done, this ticket will no longer be needed. The note (create Kunena menu) was not displayed during a new installation because the menu or remnants of it from a previous installation were still present.

What I 'added' to the script when uninstalling is to also remove all 'kunena' menu items in the Joomla Menu manager
