Not Outputting GC Controller, Wii U adapater

Nothing is detecting output from the controller, though WiinUPro is detecting the controller. Completed all steps in the setup, but everything is just detecting WUP 028 please help! Using latest release, WiinUPro version 0.9.8. I saw another issue where it was recommended to add virtual xinput device but I'm not sure how to do that, or if that's relevant to me.

Dang, I didn't mean to miss this one!
For the GCN Adapter that requires a driver to be installed in order to work, same goes for the XInput device emulation. Those are both different drivers, have you gone through those?
