Hey Mate,
I have just stumbled across another bug. I regularly pull DCPs apart, repair them and create new DCPs for my client. Recently I received a DCP with stereo audio (not DCI compliant, but most cinemas will play it). If I check "enable 5.1 sound for play back" in FreeDCPPlayer, a stereo DCP plays the audio at what sounds like double speed. If I disable 5.1 sound it plays normally.
Is it worth ignoring the enable 5.1 option if the DCP is stereo?
In the mean time, I'll adjust my GUI and check for this so it produces a warning or something.
Cheers,
Steve Q.
