Scanner cannot detect Extended Advertising devices

Hi,

I'm trying to use Kable to scan for a device that advertises using Bluetooth 5 Extended Advertising, but the Scanner is unable to detect it.

The same device is correctly detected by nRF Connect for Mobile on the same phone, so the hardware and OS support extended advertising.

With Kable, I only receive advertisements from legacy advertising devices, while the extended advertising device never appears in the advertisements flow.

Environment:

• Kable version: 0.42.0
• Platform: Test are done on Android Phone (Samsung Z Fold 5)
• Device supports Bluetooth 5 / LE Coded
• Scanning code uses the default Scanner {} configuration

@PasVegan is there a publicly available device that I could purchase to test against for fixing this?

@twyatt We are using the nRF 54L15DK board, it's true that the scanner can't detect devices using Bluetooth 5 Extended Advertising, but for a multiplatform lib it is probably the right way. iOS devices can't scan devices using Bluetooth 5 Extended Advertising... (the nRF Connect app for iOS can't find it therefore)
