I have made a translated version in Flutter with the help of cursor. @JerryZLiu

[CaptainBetts]

I'm curious to see this - I'd love to try this out but I'm on windows. Do you have the translated version somewhere?

[hongwen000]

Yes, it's in hongwen000/Dayflow at feat-swiftui-windows-PY4iZ the dayflow_flutter folder

[CaptainBetts]

Thanks - it works! I had to tweak a couple of small things (adding an images/ and animations/ folder under assets), but after that the Flutter port runs on Windows.

One thing I couldn’t get working yet is the Ollama local model path. The Windows build kept failing during describe_frame because it was treating the raw JPEG bytes as UTF-8 text:

FormatException: Invalid UTF-8 byte (at offset 0)

So every frame description call returned null → “No frame descriptions to merge” → batch failed. Looks like the Dart port needs to base64-encode the image before sending it to Ollama, whereas the SwiftUI version uses Data.base64EncodedString() automatically.

Other than that, it works great with Gemini - full recording, merging, summary, and card generation are running fine on Windows. Thanks again for making this available!

[JerryZLiu]

Woah that's sick awesome job! How long did it take?

[SeiShonagon520]

I also made a Windows version, can you take a look? However, it currently only supports Chinese. https://github.com/SeiShonagon520/Dayflow @JerryZLiu

If you like my project, could you please give it a star?

[JerryZLiu]

looks sick man!
