About us

+ Welcome to Little Stars. A school with a true heart and soul. Our
+ programs incorporate dynamic classroom instruction with caring,
+ qualified teachers and enriching indoor and outdoor play experiences. We
+ know that these first experiences within a school setting will have a
+ long lasting impact on children’s future learning. We embrace a
+ philosophy of education that combines a nurturing, inclusive learning
+ environment with an increasingly challenging academic program that
+ addresses the developmental needs of each child. In addition to
+ academics – social and emotional well-being also plays a significant
+ role in a child’s development. Our curriculum, various activities, and
+ daily experiences provide children with opportunities for a fun,
+ enriching and exciting time while they make long lasting relationships.
+ We create a positive environment which encourages children to explore
+ their surroundings on a daily basis. Upon completion of our program, we
+ believe that your child’s well-rounded experiences will provide them the
+ necessary strengths for emotional, social, cognitive, gross/fine motor,
+ and academic excellence.

A History of Excellence
+
+ For over 20 years Little Stars has started children off on a lifetime of
+ learning in a nurturing educational environment where each child feels
+ happy, respected, proud, secure and loved. Ours was the first school in
+ Romania to attain elite accreditation by the National Association for
+ the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Since then we have maintained
+ continuous accreditation by meeting all ten Early Childhood Program
+ Standards – with over 400 individual criteria. This history has
+ culminated in an organization that provides children and families the
+ individual attention they need while providing world-class resources and
+ an extensive scope of early childhood programs.

+ Little Stars’s commitment to diversity is integral to the mission of the
+ school. The different perspectives and experiences of our families
+ define the fabric of our community. These many perspectives and
+ experiences contribute to the growth of each child and help form their
+ vision of the world. The vibrancy and vitality we feel at Turtle Rock
+ comes from the people who are here. At its root are the varied interests
+ and experiences, the different backgrounds, cultures, religions, views,
+ and perspectives that our children, staff and families bring to the
+ school. Each of us adds to the richness of another’s experience.
+ Working, learning and playing together teaches us lifelong lessons about

Toddler Program (1-2 years old)

+ They’re on the move! We have a safe (and fun!) environment for
+ toddlers to explore. Everything in our toddler classroom is designed
+ for little explorers. That’s because a lot is going on at this age.
+ When your child is wandering all over the place, that means they’re

Preschool Program (3-4 years old)

+ Welcome to preschool, where we get them ready for what comes next …
+ “big kid school!” This age is all about expression, when kids really
+ start to form their own ideas about what they want to play and how
+ they want to create. Every day in our preschool classroom, your child
+ will explore science experiments, create artwork, and play pretend—all
+ the skills needed for their big next step: kindergarten! At

PreKindergarten Program (4-5 years old)
+
+ It’s their senior year of preschool! We get them ready for the years
+ ahead. When you walk into one of our pre-K classrooms, you’ll see
+ artwork and writing displayed around the room. Labels are everywhere
+ to help kids connect letters with words. You’ll also see pictures on

KinderCare Kindergarten (5-6 years old)
+
+ Their futures are looking bright! With us, they’ll be more than
+ prepared for school. Welcome to kindergarten: the gateway to grade
+ school and everything that comes next! Offered in select centers, our
+ kindergarten programs have small class sizes and curriculums that mix

Little Stars
+

+ The Little Stars is located at the top end of Jupiter High Street,
+ making it an ideal location for families living in Merry Hill, Notting
+ Hill, Holland Park and South Kensington. Children can start at the age
+ of one and stay with us until the age of six. Our spacious classrooms
+ are bright and airy, and provide the children with ample room for all
+ the activities our nursery offers. We have strong ties with many of the
+ leading private schools in London and we will prepare your child for
+ entry into the school of your choice. Our goal is to provide a safe and
+ caring environment, where children can gain a positive approach to
+ school and learning. They will learn to care for, and respect each
+ other, whilst learning how to be part of a group.

+ Good nursery education is crucial to a child's formative years, and
+ fosters an enthusiasm and confidence that will remain with them
+ throughout their school life. Our experienced and dedicated staff help
+ the children to become successful learners, confident individuals, and
+ caring contributors to society. The children learn through play and
+ structured lessons, with a balance of free choice. It is widely accepted
+ that children in this age group absorb and achieve more than at any
+ other stage in their school life, and this makes choosing the right
+ nursery school vital.
