I’d like to suggest an improvement for the Trace Follow operation:
Feature Request:
Allow Trace Follow to follow a 3D path / curve with a variable Z height (instead of flattening it to a single Z level), while supporting tool offsets (Inside, Outside, or Z offset).
Use Case:
This would be extremely useful for running a chamfer or bevel bit along the edge of a part that has a 3D surface or varying height (such as a curved guitar fretboard or an arched top).
