can't open settings after removing it from the menu bar

As the title says, I cannot find any way to get the icon back to the menu bar, or access the app settings without the menu bar icon.

(I still don't know what directory it was in (lol Finder is so unforgivably bad), but I found settings.plist and removed it to reset app preferences.)
