For complex requirements, how can specs be generated and maintained? Is it possible to support the use of Gherkin's Scenario Outline and Background to support the writing of complex specs?
Scenario Outline: Process single order
Given a customer places an order
When they pay <amount>
Then order is confirmed
Examples:

Feature: Customer Loyalty Points
As a customer
I want to earn points on my purchases
So that I can receive rewards and discounts on future orders
Background:
Given the loyalty program is active
And point values are set to 1 point per dollar spent

And their current point balance is 0
When they complete a purchase of $100
Then they earn 100 loyalty points
And their new point balance is 100
Scenario: Silver tier earns bonus pointsGiven a customer with Silver membership
