Sign-in was blocked by Google (less secure apps)

Normally I cannot sign in to Youtube to upload video. Google said I have to allow less secure apps to access my account by change settings at https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps. Maybe because ClientLogin has been deprecated and we should use OAuth 2.0 instead?
