jstest-gtk and other applications fail to detect Switch Pro Controller clone despite connecting in Bluetooth in Linux Mint 22.2

Hey, I'm having trouble trying to get my Switch Pro Controller clone working with my new Linux Mint installation. My gamepad does not show up in jstest-gtk even after installing hid-nintendo and starting the joycond service in the terminal despite connecting just fine through blueman.

I'm also using the latest kernel version which is 6.14.0-29

My 8bitdo controller works fine plugged directly into USB though but CEMU doesn't seem to be picking up the inputs
