Feature Request: Add a "Clear All" option to the notifications

There is a "mark as read" button but the notifications still seem to live on, just without the indicator that there are notifications. Can we have a button to actually clear the notifications?

Added a Clear all button to the notification bell dropdown in v1.5-rc6.

How it works:

• "Clear all" appears in the header next to "Mark all read" when there are visible entries
• Clicking it hides all current entries from the dropdown by storing a clearedAt timestamp in localStorage
• The audit log is preserved — this is purely a client-side visual clear
• New notifications that arrive after clearing still appear normally

This follows the standard pattern used by GitHub, Linear, etc. — two header actions: "Mark all read" (removes unread indicator) and "Clear all" (empties the list).

Thanks again for adding this. I see it now in rc.6. Question though. For me having the two options as plain text right next to each other feels a bit crowded.

I would recommend either separating them more so there is a cleaning distinction between the two options OR make them icons etc. The goal is to define each more clearly as a separate menu action. At a minimum we should consider labeling "Clear" instead of "Clear All" as it seems a little redundant.

Clear All shipped in v1.5.0-rc.6 — button appears in the notification bell header next to "Mark all read" whenever there are visible entries. If the two buttons still feel crowded on rc.9, reopen with a screenshot and we'll refine. Closing.

Yes, they do still feel crowded on rc.9. There isn't a clear separation between the two buttons. See screenshot

Simple remedy would be to remove "All" from "Clear All". Just use "Clear". Seems redundant anyway to have "Clear" AND "All". Thanks!
