ClearURLs breaks bol.com

For a long time I've had issues ordering from bol.com. Right before proceeding to the payment provider, an "unknown error" would take place which would mean my cart would get emptied without me having the option to pay. After a long time of searching I figured out that ClearURLs was stripping too much somewhere, which seems to be breaking bol.com.

Is there a way to help debug this issue so it could be resolved? I very much enjoy your addon and think more people in the Netherlands and Belgium would use it if it didn't break this rather popular online shop.

I was struggling with exactly the same thing for a while. When using this extension on bol.com, you can neither pay nor change payment method.
A possible solution would be an allowlist or something similar.

I have reported this to bol.com in CASE:201202106, on 2023-10-30. I had a phonecall with a developer about it, in which they mentioned that they would fix this soon.

The root cause is that the ref parameter is removed, which contains a reference to the order. It is not a tracking parameter in this case.

We really need a whitelist, and to make it usable, we probably need a history as well.

Is there a fork of this addon with whitelist functionality? There's been a request for three years, #215 it's pretty clear that it's not going to happen any time soon.

ETA: #372 (review) just maybe it'll happen soon?
