Add 'Skip to Search Results' hidden link?

On the search page, we might want to add a 'Skip to search results' button just after our 'Skip to main content' button.

Reasoning

When a user (a) selects a new filter or (b) changes the sort, since the page reloads, they have to navigate through all the facets again before they arrive at the search results. It would be better if, on reload, they were given the opportunity to skip straight to the newly filtered and/or sorted results.

Questions

Where should this new visually-hidden link go? Right after 'Skip to main content,' maybe?

I notice Amazon has a set of skip links that appear all together.

From 2025-09-23 dev team checkin:

• Page reloads on filtering/searching and tabbing/reading goes through searchbox and facets before getting to the search results
• Amazon example of multiple "Skip to" links
  • extra skip link is only on search pages
  • Note: Their filters come after results, so they have “Skip to Filters” instead of “Skip to Search Results”
• Decision: research best place for a link like this
  • in the header alongside the "Skip to Main Content" (if possible with rails)? - probably not; the potential problem with this is that the user might use "Skip to Main Content" link right away and not get to the Skip to Search Results link.
