Unable to install NVIDIA 575 or 570 driver on AnduinOS 1.3.5 - packets return 404

Hi,

I'm trying to install the NVIDIA 575 or 570 driver on my MSI GF63 Thin 9RC laptop with a GeForce GTX 1050 Mobile graphics card and AnduinOS 1.3.5 (Kernel 6.14.0-29, GNOME 48.0).

what I tried:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-575 or sudo apt install nvidia-driver-570

Installation fails with a 404 error when downloading packages from pl.archive.ubuntu.com.

Other packages (e.g., figlet) download normally using atp install.

Additional information:

ubuntu-drivers devices shows driver 575 as recommended.

I can't install the NVIDIA drivers using the standard terminal/apt method.

Might be a mirror issue. Can you try switching Ubuntu mirror?

I executed the bash file from the first link and it works. The driver installed without any problems, thanks. I have another question: will I now have to execute this bash and reinstall the driver after every major system update?

The question comes from the fact that I was previously using Android OS version 1.3.3 and the drivers installed without any problems. After the update, the driver disappeared, meaning it was downloaded and didn't work. But I couldn't reinstall it because of the 404 error.

I suspect it's an issue with Ubuntu's mirror. Please also submit an issue to Canonical about this.
