Pick variables for 4dm #3
Description
Create a data set for each of these or a reason why this is excluded:
- Which ERA5 variables exactly (P, T, ET, Snow (is this not a standard variable?)?
- Morphometric variables (elevation, slope, melton ratio of catchment (ask Varya), circularity, others?),
- Glacier variables (glacier area, mass balance (Hugonnet et al). For the glaciers we do not have an annual mass balance but only an average for the period 2000-2018. I am not sure if this is a problem.
- Permafrost (YES/NO), here we only have a discrete map available with different types of permafrost.
- Vegetation (average NDVI, monthly standard deviation in NDVI, etc). For the NDVI (a measure of greenness) it is possible to make average annual maps, or monthly maps or annual standard deviation maps (of monthly NDVI).
